Dr. Mike Evans doctor and professor answers the age old question “What is the single best thing we can do for our health?” in a completely new and entertaining way. Dr. Mike Evans is the founder of the Health Design Lab, where they “fuse creatives and clinicians.” He’s also an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of Toronto, and a staff physician at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Dr. Evans asks us one simple question: “Can you limit your sitting and sleeping to just 23 and a 1/2 hours a day?” It is a very impactful and important question for many of us that spend much of our time working on a computer, watching TV and playing video games. Other than refusing to sit, what do you do to stay healthy?
Here is a great recommendation to kick start your walks that Dr. Mike Evans suggested; first started with a simple "Health, Wellness and Fitness Score Assessment" The assessment helps to pinpoint on the areas that needs work and to focus on. Then take the Challenge that has the lease score on the Health, Wellness and Fitness Assessment that needs work and improvement. The challenge will give you the energy to fulfill your daily activities. Challenge yourself and take the challenge!
